The Price is Right
The aims of the evening were:
- To focus on team work (through discussion in the quiz)
- To show the Scouts how much things actually cost
We showed them 26 items from the Scout stores – using prices from the Scout catalogue. At the end of the quiz we were able to tot up the scores… worryingly the team that won only scored 6 points!
The Scouts themselves were generally quite boisterous – it could be that we were a little slack with discipline and they picked up on that, or even that the pace of the evening was a little slow (made worse by general mucking about). However, I think the aims of the evening were achieved.
